I need banner help!

I went to make a banner out of my last post
and well....you can see what happened. It
took me two and a half hours to get it that
big. I'm pretty new to the blog scene and
am trying to kick it up a knotch or 10. Can
anyone please, please help me. Muah!

Hi Diane...Ohhhhh, I wish I could help you on the banner but I'm kinda new to blogging, too. Not very savvy (yet! ha!) You will love Simple Abundance. See if you can get the Self-Discovery Journal that is a companion to it. You'll LOVE it. Do you have a used bookstore nearby? Sometimes you can find those books as they are not new. Thank you for YOUR comment and compliment on my blog. I'm so grateful to receive comments, aren't you? Take care, Diane. Sincerely, Susan at writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com

LOL, Suz, I hear ya on that! Susan, I will try amazon as I signed up for the super shipping saver when I ordered the last two books. I'm excited as I LOVE books.

Have you gone to "layout", then "customize" on your dashboard? The header box at the top has an edit option at the bottom left... you can then upload any picture. Maybe give that a try and just upload the original photo from your pictures on your computer. See if this helps???

You can upload your pic to Picnik and add your blog nameand/or any script and then save it back to your computer. When adding it to your blog select the "shrink to fit option" and the "instead of the title and description option". I always have top lay around a bit with mine too. Hope this helps a bit :)) Love your header pic too!!! lOvely!

Oh you can go to fonts and colors and make your border match the color of your background then your header will fit without having to be inside the border.
Hope this helps...I am always trying on my blog just a hit and miss....haha
Yes I love Minnie's music too.. I stumbled upon it last year by accident...I never knew she had any musical talent until then.

Hi there,
Nice to meet you. Thanks for your sweet comments.
I wish I could help on the banner, but I'm not that computer savy. I had help with mine from the Shabby Chic. She is on my blog roll if you want to talk to her. I'm sure she could help, and it doesn't cost very much.
Have a great day!
Rosemary

If you go to the clipart fairy--there's a link on the sidebar of my blog--then go to the background fairy from the link on there. On the background fairy, there are free backgrounds and banners along with instructions on how to add your text to the banners. email me if you have a question about what I just said! jrruskamp@msn.com

Oh, hey first of all thanks for becoming a follower! Second, my advice is make a second test blog and fool around with that. Also if I ever really want to change anything I check out my favorite blogging advice blog called Blogger Sentral
